Great product
What a light anchor! But more importantly: it sets well, holds well, and keeps my mind at peace! Great great anchor would recommend!

Best anchor I've bought
It is the best anchor I have bought. Very light, very easy to handle, easy to put on the roll bar, sets immediately, and holds the whole time. Very nice, especially for sailing in the Adriatic and Mediterranean (I am in Italy).

Great for my 45ft Elan
Use it for my family 45ft Elan in New Jersey during the summers. Works flawlessly, have used it for a while now. Anchor is very light (about 15lbs) and sets better than my other anchors that I have bought on Amazon that are lower quality. XYZ has been very responsive as a company as well for any questions. Have recommended this to friends

Love the anchor
Love this anchor, been recommending it to friends at the marina. It's super beautiful with a satin finish and sharp edges, as well as super light. Grips well, sets well, wouldn't change a thing! I typically use it on sand bottoms and it sets almost immediately. As a test I even set it, and then turned on the engine to see if it'll break out and it didn't (it almost broke my rope though LOL!)

Powerful powerful anchor that is very light
I have a 12 meter speed boat that I use the XYZ for. We have 2 anchors on the boat, one for the bow and one for the stern, both are XYZ anchors. My kids (below 10 both) want to sometimes throw the anchor themselves which we allow from the stern, it's so light that they have no issues throwing it or pulling it back up. On the stern, we have it set on a bow roller so I automatically set it with a push of a button. Very happy with the anchor, and customer support is very nice, it's a family owned business so I got to know everyone over the years. Would highly recommend

Large fluke = large holding power
An anchor’s weight is the least important factor for how well it sets or holds. The key is the size of the fluke or its surface area. The XYZ Air Anchor has a 1250cm² fluke, which is 2-5 times bigger than others of similar size.
In short, a bigger fluke means more friction and resistance under sediment (clay, sand, gravel, etc) because it covers more area. This gives the anchor better stability, making it harder to dislodge due to its increased contact with the seabed.

FLUKE SIZE, NOT WEIGHT, DETERMINES HOLDING POWER
When it comes to holding power, the fluke size is the only factor that matters, everything else is just dead weight. 83% of the XYZ Air Anchor's weight is in the huge fluke.
XYZ Anchor has the largest fluke area, which increases friction and therefore holding power when set deep in any sea bottom.
Our anchor works well in sand, clay, and mud even when overpowered irrelevant of the boat's power, weight, and size.
